I just got them this morning!!! Dammit!
Anyway, I found another possible fix on an American site - Find a steep driveway somewhere and put the vehicle into low range and 1st gear, and turn on HDC so that it activates the ABS modulator and gets it "working".
Most vehicles suffer from the shuttle valve jamming on the ABS modulator simply from lack of use.
I'll try that this afternoon.
Thanks - not much hope there! The local crowd have been notorious for many, many years, even back to the time when I bought my S111!
Go down to the beach and drive around in the sand without the CDL locked (if you have a CDL lock) it will do the same thing and work out the TC (ABS unit) big time.
Best of luck as an ABS modulator replacement unit is thousands of dollars and you need a diagnostic unit to be able to bleed the ABS system properly when you replace it.
I hope it is only a sensor. What year Disco do you have?

Ive got a secondhand sensor now.
Will fit over the weekend. Will let you know how it goes.

Let's know how you go - I have brake squeal, which I think may be from dust or non-genuine pads, so that points in the direction of a simple fault (fingers crossed). One of the sensors appears to be new, so I think that someone's been here before me. . . Let's see what the dealer's warranty is like.
if the sensor is new-- there will be no two pin connector between the sensor and abs/module
