Do you have a RAVE CD???
Does anyone have a circuit diagram / schematic for the AC on a 300Tdi Defender?
The electric fan on mine was connected to an aftermarket relay switched by an IGN +'ve feed and fed from a wire directly off the back of the alternator (via a circuit breaker).
I disconnected the alternator wire, though I can re-route it from the starter solenoid, but I need to find the correct switching wire that turns on with AC.
Where does it run? What color is it?
I've booked the car in for an AC service tomorrow and then realised the whole fan issue, and I'd like to resolve this myself rather than pay someone $80p/h to nut out someone elses mistakes.
If you have a link to a diagram, or can email me one that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

I have it - it might be 200 Tdi or it may be 300 Tdi - but it is the Aussie system.

Was that the right diagram for your vehicle?

I wired it up to the compressor (via a fuse and relay), I'll study the circuit diagram and see if I can find the proper feed.
Re-gas was great, the AC blows 2degC at the vents at half power (3o'clock) setting. I'll see how it copes on the next HOT day.
Thanks for the replies.
