    power steering

Was driving to work today and noticed that every time I moved the steering wheel from dead straight,it made a grinding sound.I checked the level in the bottle and it was just above 1/2 full.
Besides the 2 hoses that connect to the resevoir,is there any where else I should check for leaks(the hoses look all brown at the moment, cause I have to replace the top hose on the radiator).
    Thanks

Are you sure that it is not just the UJs on the steering column.
This gives a very hard spot just off straight ahead, but not usually a grinding sound.
To check , douse the UJs in CRC.
