    mmmm maybe Gremlins

    when taking the Disco home from the Mechanics I jumped in the car and she wouldn't start I though, ha. The Cuz being my Mechanic said take the key out lock it and unlock at wallah it started

    the funny thing is Ive owned it for 6 months ive left keys in there before and I didn't do that before

    It's the immobilizer cutting in. Sometimes ( and if you do a search on JohnE's threads, you find it happened to him too) the passive coil - key fob setup just doesn't recognize each other. Try using your other key fob for a while and consider a new battery for the other fob.

    unfortunately its the only key I have a many times switched the car off leaving the key inside especially while off road then returned and started it up now I have to unlock the doors using the key fob then she starts its just weird do you guys thing that it could have been switched of at the CPU or something and reset when the car was in service or am I looking to far
