Emmision controls and re-registration
Getting my old '85 jackaroo running LPG going for No 1 piccinini who will be 18 in march.
It has 500,000km on it
230 I did from 99 to 05 and it's been sitting with a bung diff for 18 months.
Scored another axle really cheap, so she's running again but it'll have to be registered in VIC. expired SA reg currently.
now, one of the emission control systems is a pump that injects fresh air into the exhaust. This was seized when I bought it in 99 and was removed then. will the authorities accept an LPG only vehicle as emission compliant if all the petrol system and carburator emission control systems are removed?
a 2.3lt throttle body injection manifold and Gas research carby would make a neat instalation

If there is no provision for running on Petrol and the LPG emissions are within spec, you shouldn't have problems, at least in NSW anyway, Vic shold be similar, Regards Frank.
