    Angry Stalling Problems.......

I have a '94 Disco V8i. Cannot fault the car when it is running. Unfortunately it has a miond of it's own and decides to stall. There is no warning given when it is about to stall, revs drop to zero with no power. The car then will not restart. When trying to restart the car belches out it's own white smoke screen. If left for anything up to 45 minutes the car will restart go beatuifully for up to 10-20 kms as though nothing happened. It will then go through the same process except this time does not blow smoke. Will veentually start but!!!!! I left overnight or longer starts and runs as thought it has no problems, until next time. No rhyme or reason when it decides to stop.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated as I am completely fed-up and frustrated with car.

Check your other post today, have you checked the Temp. sender unit, it may be reading incorrectly and definitely check the IAC valve and clean the valve and the seat, make sure the wiring plug to the IAC valve is tight and the terminals clean, check all earths as advised in this and other posts, Regards Frank.
