    The first graph is pressure drop (how much force it takes to push air through the filter) - not necessarily rated to filter efficiency (but the main thing K&N care about). Filters are often compared by "quality factor" - which is the ratio of pressure drop and filtration efficiency.

    My post was based on what i said.
    Several LR mechanics, one Ex Army claim the Orig OEM filter is better then most After market. They dont use non genuine even on older cars.

    Like the old saying, Using genuine means reliabilty.

    Toyota and LR are big on genuine and so am i...

    What you say is generally correct/good advice. However in this case I find it interesting that you are willing to believe opinion over real data.
