Thread: speedo problem

hi guys just a quick question got into the disco this morning and headed off down the road to find the speedo is not working !
fuses all ok (all other instruments working)
is there any way of testing the speedo itself ?
is there any way of testing the transducer ?
any help would be appreciated many thanks

Sounds like the sender, I had this problem a while ago and I just pulled it out and gave a squirt of inox inside as it was dry and sticky. Don't know if it was the problem but it hasn't stopped since, I have heard that they do fail.
