    12000 or 10000 Service

Took my 07 Defender in for its first service at 12,000kms (according to the windscreen sticker) and the service guy told me the interval is 10,000!

    So which is it?

I don't know offhand, but it will be in your service book.

The first service should have been scheduled for 10 000km - from then on, it's every 20 000km according to my dealer.

    problems

Were there any problems discovered (beyond the service interval), or was it running fine?

Don't worry they told me 12000. Infact they said 20,000 then 12000 and I was told 12000 a few times.

I did the oil myself early so I'm not fussed. But you'll be right. They are just..... hmm.... not always on the ball. And fact is 12000 is to far anyway.
