    vacuum hose from brake booster

    The vacuum hose that runs from the engine to the brake booster, if I wanted too replace it (on the v8 3,9lt engine) what would I need too get from Repco ? or would I be better getting a genuine part ?

    Matt - honestly a hose is a hose (in most cases), long as it doesnt leak, go brittle and crack - then its going to be fine.

    ok, just thought that the one currently fitted (from memory ) is a hard plastic hose !

    Yes Matt, but you can purchase that by the length, and heat and bend to suit.

    Just buy whatever Diameter the original hose is from the spare's place ask for Vacuum hose always get it 100mm longer just to be sure, Regards Frank.
