The Discovery will be the cheaper buy.
Therefore you can get a newer one with less mileage compared to the Range Rover.

    Cheaper option is a Disco

No where near as good on or offroad than a Rangie but..

    Newer.. accessories are easier

Me I would never get one but I like my rangies

is your 1990 rangie so much better than my 95 disco that it needed jap diffs?

don't they share many/ most chassis suspension and drive train components? how are they better on and off road?

    are 7 seat rangies available?

I'm curious to know what makes a rangie classic better in the bush to?

Shame they're close eough to the same, apart from a few bush and pin size changes

The main reason I hated my Disco was the lack of room in the boot, might as well have had a Vitara (mine was an ES 7 seater with twin aircon) a Rangie will have more room, but neither compare with a 110

I am in agreeance with everyone by the looks of it.

The only reason i'd say buy the rangie is because I have a soft spot for em...

The disco even thou its the ugly duckling IMHO is basically the same package in a odd skin.

Either way you will get a good 4wd and don't be suprised if either of them gives you its fair share of "you stoopid peice of >insert foul language here<"

    Cheers

I know this is probably a very stupid question but ..... The disco and rangie are both on the same chassis and running gear ?

    That is my understanding.

Discos get hand hand me down chassis/suspension parts after they are obsolete in the rangie

so mid to late 80's range tech is in early 90's discos

    I could be wrong
