    Thanks but all sorted now.
I got confused with 6 presets and a 6 digit code so was pressing preset 1 3 times if the first number of the code was 3.

Once I understood how it worked then it was no problem.

Just call me a dumb Disco driver

    regards

Ok so I have a 4 digit code - well I presume it's the code as it's been written in nikko on the radio chassis ! LOL.

When I try entering the code I type in the 4 digits, nothing happens, and then it sets me up for attempt 2, then 3 then ----.

Is there some button i should be pressing after entering the 4 digits ?

(The radio is the older single DIN one, with a plug on the LHS under the screen labelled "CD in")

Please help. I can try again in 58 minutes !!!
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Is this the black radio with the orange display as fitted originally to your RR ?
If so, I think you need to press a button before entering the code, than maybe another at the end. It's been years since I've played with one of those though so I might be mistaken.
I'm sure 'Band" is one of the buttons to be pressed.

I can double check the radio code for you if you PM me the 10 digit serial number.

Vlad whatever your code is just push the button that coinsides with the number...ie if the code is 4661 then push the button marked 4 then push button 6 twice then number 1 then hit am/fm and it should work if u have the right code if the code is wrong u will get "2" displayed in the lcd panel meaning try number 2 after the third try and the code not being correct it will lock u out for 1 hr, so u have to have it powered up and wait for the ---- to appear then try again with another code.(which someone will have to get for you after you provide them with the sn of the unit)

    Hmm, that technique didn't work.
Either there's something else to do technique wise or the PIN is wrong.

    Scouse ?

Thanks to all, especially that big CHAMPION, Scouse !

Obviously the previous owner of the radio was dyslexic, writing the number down wrongly. I imagine they went to church each week because they beleived in Dog.

    Now I have MUSIC !!!!!
