Thread: track rod length heeelp

Guys on a 93 Disco what is the track rod and drag link length from centre to centre I need to finish this today

it varies, mark your rims at the 3 oclock position and measure the distance from rim to rim roll the vehicle forwards till they are at about the 9 oclock position and measure again the distance should be the same but +/-1mm is ok. from there take it for a short drive and allow the vehicle to roll to a halt on flat ground without using the brakes then apply the hand brake now measure the distance between the rims again and you should have the same number.

To adjust it you dont need to go through the whole drive measure thing just roll the vehicle forwards or backwards 1 full tyre rotation after each adjustment.
