    Vibration D2

OK i have this vibration, the DC joint has been checked and so has the rear unis, it has a new clutch and spigot bush, transfer case and G/box have been recoed, harmonic balancer is OK.

This vibration is when you rest your foot on the clutch pedal and take up the free play, if you depress the pedal too the floor it goes away, release the clutch and it's there, it has my mechanic stumped.

Other things that have to be checked are the engine mounts and flexable joint on the exhaust, but, i can't see how this could be the problem because the vibration only comes from the clutch pedal and as soon as you push the pedal to the floor it goes away.

Any other ideas would be good, i don't want to be out in the middle of knowhere and something let go.

    Baz.
    Cheers Baz.

No vibration before the repairs, only started afterwards

Pete did you notice any vibes while you were in the car?
    Cheers Baz.

A long shot Baz, but just because some items replaced with new it doesn't mean they are perefect. I recall replacing plugs once and the car played up something awefull, it turned out two of the plugs were faulty and when repleced again ran sweetly .

It could be a faulty thrust race, and was the fly wheel machined, sure sounds like in the clutch assembly somehow. Bugger of a job to pull it apart again to find out though.
