I recently started putting synthetic oil in my 4.6 v8 D1. I reccon it is quiter but I have also noticed that it now uses oil whereas it didn't before.

Does anyone see a problem with this apart from the need to keep a watchful eye on the oil level and of cost the cost of the stuff?
