    Td5 Oil Level

    Hi I have a 04 defender td5 with 50,000 km. on the last oil change I notice the oil level was a little above the full line. should I be concern with this?

    Hi GRIFF,

    - Have you checked it on could engine?
    - Just in case have you checked the coolant level, is it still the same?

    I'd put old oil in several coke bottles (1.5 -2L) and check next day or later for different color layers. Easy to see if something else in oil.

    Hope it just was overfilled before and nothing to worry about

    Mine always comes back from a service slightly over filled. My mechanic reckons it's very difficult to get the level just right so probably nothing to worry about. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't change.
