    Platinum Plugs D2

    Guys,

Mechanic installed a brand new set of Platinum Plugs, did 15kms and massive backfires, plugs will be fouled like the set he replaced. These are basically throw away items now?

nope just give them a dip in kero, then spray them off with carby cleaner, dry them off and so long as they havent been detonated against or cooked they will come up near enough to new but you cant do it too many times.

you can give them a light scrub with a toothbrush while doing the kero thing IF gentle agetation in the kero doesnt clean them up just dont use anything too harsh to scrub them with.
