Discovery Scan Tool - ebay
Anyone have experience with these hand held Scan Tools for Disco 2?
Someone on ebay was selling heaps of a similar Scan Tool a couple of weeks ago for $199USD, but seems to fallen off the face of the earth.
I have been advisd by LR workshop, that these type of scan tools can do damage to ECU and give false readings?

i know that if its a td5 disco2, the scantool wont read the slabs ecu, i think its the same story for the engine ecu. unsure of body module though. if its a v8 u might be ok, pretty sure i've read on here of people with d1's using the scantools successfully.

Mines V8. I guess primary functions I require would be O2 sensors and afm mixtures, rest would be a bonus. Thanks for your post.

LOL...sorry, you posted at the same time. Try www.blackboxsolutions.com
I think they make something for the v8...more expensive though.
