If you were not after looks, you could use PVC pipe.
Another question from me!
Does anyone know an exhaust place on the Goldcoast or in Brisbane (preferably South) that could bend me up a snorkel out of 3" pipe?
Or could someone on here make one for me? Paid of course.
I cant fit an off the shelf one due to the cage.
It only needs 3 bends, and needs to look roughly like this:
Any suggestions would be great!

I got mine bent up at right price exhausts at slacks ck. They weren't keen on doing it, but did a pretty good job. I just got them to press bend it, not weld in mandrels. Mine was a bit more complex though.

						Try a truck exhaust place.
I bought some bits from an expensive exhaust place in Broome, (must have been to subsidise the typical Broome rent?), and welded them together into something like your picture.
Unfortunately, I recently pulled the hose to the filter off the bottom end of the pipe, had a look inside, and found all this dirt built up on the inside of the bend. This must have been dust and God-knows-what-else that got in through the snorkel head.
So, the next version will have a box or similar for that last bend. This should slow down the airflow and let all that heavy stuff fall out.

Here is my experience of making my own. Feel free to steal ideas.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Caver... lol.. Steal I will
Going to have a walk round bunnings in a minute.
Happy to only have it on when needed, so appearance in te short term at least isn't that important.
