    D2 Radio Channel Display Light

Just recently the light on the channel display has stopped working, is this a globe or is it a curcuit board display LED.

    I'm realy hoping it's only a globe

    radio display

Mine is only half illuminated, according to the Dealers no replacement part is specified for that item.
The clock is a globe but it sounds like the radio is leds.
I am going to pop mine out and have a look.If it is LEDs may be easy, may be difficult to replace them.

If it is the standard Eurovox unit then it will be a globe. Probably has a green condom on it too.

Go to Dick Smith or Jaycar and buy a replacement for <$1

I have replaced plenty of these. Check the other face bulbs while you are in there.

Both the D1 and D2 I have had been taken apart and the fix is a bunch of 12 mini globes from Jaycar, yes they are on the circuit board but a cheap 10 dollar soldering iron and the ability to take the face off is well worth the effort. Hope this helps,
