Thread: hi lift jack mounting ?

Gday,
I have a hi lift jack and want to mount it on a arb roof rack. Can any one give me some ideas on how to go about this ,with out spending big money?

I once carried a hi lift jack around Australia without using it once. It was placed on the roof bars I had on the fender. Used hose claps (worm drive), it did mark the alloy roof bars so I would suggest you use a piece of inner tube to pad the clamps.

You will need a screw driver to remove the jack but as you don't use them all the time

Most people don't like hi lifts as they consider them dangerous.
