I've had an engine watchdog and a thermoguard EGT gauge sitting in the shed for ages and have just got around to fitting them. What a great feeling knowing what's actually going on with the engine. I just love driving around watching those pretty numbers. In case anyone's interested so far the watchdog has recorded a maximum temp of 75* at the thermostat housing, and max EGT was 435* on a short highway run. My engine is completely standard with no tweaking AFAIK.
