I recently had a gearbox overhaul, included replacing a couple of syncros. I was so unhappy with the place at the time ()charged 13.5 hours to remove and replacethe it, plus 1700 for the repair, that I did not return to them.

Should I have had the gearbox oil replaced at any stagesince then?

I have done approx. 15,000k, and now hear a noise on deceleration (without the brakes).
