After a battery disconnect on a TD5 D2 is there a reset sequence required?

Hi, if the battery is disconnected for maintenance work - say to R&R the ECM electrical harness to clean out oil in the conectors etc, is there a reset sequence required to start the engine after the battery is reconnected? Or is it just a case of connect it all up and away you go?

I seem to remember when the Dual Battery system was installed on the vehicle, the installers mentioned they had dramas starting the engine after their work, so they contacted LR and they advised pressing some button in the engine bay or something.

This would be helpful to know before any work is commenced.....

    Thanks in advance

The only thing you may need to do is reenter the security code into the stereo if its a factory unit.

The button under the bonnet is an impact sensor. You shouldnt need to touch it.

Now IF it was a D3 then I'd say..

Hold down CTRL, ALT & Delete..
When Task menu pops up on the windscreen, Turn the TR knob till reboot is selected.
    Wait for updates to install
    Exit
    Click 'Start'
    Select Restart Machine
