There is a tool that holds the fan still while you undo it from the hub.
If you look down between the fan and the pulley you will see 4 10mm blot heads and a 1 1/16 (I think) nut on the back of the fan.
BE AWARE, it is left hand thread and normally BLOODY tight.
I think the tool is the same for a Falcon, I just made mine from a bit of HT flat steel.
For the tool you just measure between the centres of the bolts on opposing sides and then mark out a square, then drill 3 12mm holes on 3 of the corners and with an 1 1/2 hole saw and lots of coolant, cut out the inner part between the holes.
Then with a hacksaw, the bottom section out and then weld it to a long peice of flat (or make it at the end of a long piece of plate.
Mines out of 2mm HT bright plate that isnt all that readilly available but I had some left from another job but mild steel in 2mm should be fine if you know that it's Left Hand Thread.
When you put it back on, dont use locktite on it or else you will be cutting it off next time you need it off.
By the way, you cant get the shroud off without removing the fan without cutting it in half.

. all this and i still haven't fixed the *%&^@#$ slow starter motor . So very close to busting out the hammer and adjusting a few things in the shed
