    remote not working after battery disconection

    had to disconnect my battery from my tdi 300 discovery and now the remote will not work is there a trick to fix this

    Hi mate ;

    this is Normal;

    Factory fitted tampering proof alalrm system , i also removed my Starter battery to have it properly charged and when starter battery was put back in the Alarm remote key would not engage the factory fitted alarm , the right key on the Alarm remote has to be pressed several times for the alarm to engage ?? really weird but it works??

    Plip needs re-synchronizing. Check out your vehicle handbook for details, but AFAICR it's press unlock 4-5 times in a row while close to the vehicle.
    The system will flash if the plip is successfully synched.

    thanks guys for the post tried pressing the right remote key 3 times worked a treat now i can only find the person that over tighten the positve terminal connection on the battery he might be able to loosen it for me so i can get it off.
