Risks of 40 mm lift Disco S2

I am looking at 40 MM Lift due to following.
Front has sagged from original (Bull Bar & Second battery)
Slight rubbing on inner guard (tyres slight oversize)

At very least I need to restore to original height but I do want to go to 40mm as will allow use of my spare rims / muddies etc.

However I know of yet another driveline failure (takes out auto trans at same time !) with a vehicle with 40 MM Lift.

Is there a way of overcoming the change in angles which is supposed to cause the failure.

My vehicle is 2004 TD5. How can can I minimise the risk!! My only other potential mod at this point in time is a rear locker

You wont easily lift it without changing the angles of the propshaft.

I also disagree with the assumption that the angle is what causes the failure, though I think that it may exacerbate the problem.

A common way of dealing with this is to fit greasable DC joint parts into it, though these also still fail. I tend to thing that the joint fails due to going dry, but I think they also fail because they are undersized.
    Cheers
