Ask him for a copy of the dyno chart with the before and after curves so we can compare them.
They can do that. For example, here are two of my bikes on the same chart:

Ron,
I don't think they did one.
He fitted the unichip, then did the Dyno.
I know he said they could not get anymore than 78Kw out of it, and then rang South Africa.
The Chip was released last week and my Disco is the first to get the new one. I'll ask him on Monday, as it has two maps and a "toggle switch". There is apparently 5 degrees difference in the ignition between them. One for ULP and one for PULP. I don't know which is what, but it runs better with the switch up, on ULP.
BTW, the only mods to the motor are the large exhaust and snorkel, that I wrote about earlier.
I have not noticed much difference in 0 to 100, but the difference in torque is outstanding.
Cheers,
Ron
That is excellent Ron.
I had mine Dyno in the week to get an idea of what I had, 59.5Kw. Not happy, but I guess there is a lot of room for improvment.
Do these chips work with lpg gas? I've yet to get my D2 gased (waiting on parts and $$).
Thats some pretty impressive power gains...
Good work.
Cheers
Dave.
I'm glad I don't have to go through all this with Diesels, I just fit a Pyrometer, play with the fuelling and boost compensator while driving up my local 'Dynomometer' hill...:D
I would love another V8, but I'm happy with the simplicity of Turbo diesel engines ATM.
PS, it takes a lot of patience and research to find a combination of ECU mapping etc that works in the real world, not just on a rolling road.

Just a quick squizz in my crystal ball---
*room dissolves slowly, loud noises are heard!, dust is seen!*
I see another V8 in your future Justin--
and this one GOES!!!
Yesterday, turning right into the main road from a side steet.
Saw the cars advancing from the right and thought to myself, "If I plant it, I may just get ahead of them".
I had forgotten about the "Chip".
The Disco took off at a great rate of knots and almost became uncontrollable  The missus yells out "SH*T" as we are heading side ways for the medium strip, like a rocket!
All I could do was say "Sorry, I forgot what happens when you plant the foot to the floor!"
The hair on the back of my neck was standing on end!
The change is this vehicle could not be described as.. "mild", and believe me, I'm not kidding.
It's a pity Land Rover did not make them like that in the beginning.
