    Chinese Head

    just in the process in having my 300tdi disco reconditioned. The engineer told me today there some cheep Chinese made heads for the 300 about. Any one know about these if they are up to the job, how much and who sells them?

    Have heard there has been some dodgy ones, in this case it's probably you get what you pay for.

    By and large Chinese products today are good quality, from what I've experienced.

    By the way, where does an official LR unit come from these days?

    Probably India now.

    Mate, i am in the diesel engine parts business and to be honest i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.
    Point of note YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!
