    Shocks

    anyone have the part numbers (front and rear) for bilstien shocks to suit an 85 county with the heavier king springs under it?

    I have a set of billsteins. They are for a D1 though and not sure if they would fit. They are brand new however I threw out the boxes but they still have that tape around them. If they would fit let me know as I don't think I have a use for them unless they fit my 2A but I doubt it.

    Sorry I don't have the serial for them unless it is on the shock somewhere.

    Learn something new every day... so i guess ones from a series 1 won't either I'm disillusioned now... though everything was the same

    they are close. i have had some front county ones in my hand and they were different to the defender ones by about 20mm but didnt know the back were different.

    Hi Dave,
    I have fitted plenty of Billies to 110's, I use B46-0243 front, and B46-0253 rears. The 130 and the 110 hardtop will however top these rears out when unladen, and the longer shock is preferred for these two on the rear. Had no issues with the 110 defender wagons. BUT, this is all with standard springs...
