Fuel block is the most likely suspect.
Common Td5 fuel leak and comes from the Drivers side rear of the engine area.

Those of you that have delved into the TD5's innards, how difficult is it to change injector seals, is it DIY or better left to the professionals? What is the best way ti diagnose wheather or not they are leaking?
Reason i'm asking is i'm getting a waxy deposit on the spot on the driveway where my engine is leakingWhat would the most likely culprit be.
My engine oil level is not rising, that i've noticed anyway, so am not convinced diesel is bypassing the injectors, but fuel consumption is up.
Any guidance here would be great,
Cheers, Phill

the injectors are a DIY if you think your confident enough to do it....
nearest equivelent difficulty I would call as rebuilding the calipers from a rangie with the dual brake circuts on the front end for the attention to detail and clenliness and redoing the valve timing on a 2.25 for the Cam work required.
but Im going to back justinc for the fuel pressure regulator or the cooler as the next culprit.

Worst thing with mine was getting the injectors out. Took 3 workshops as the first 2 broke their tools trying.
Thanks for the insight, i'm up for a new waterpump so will change the fuel pressure regulator at the same time, hell, may as well change the o rings in the cooler also. Ah well, she has done 185 thou. Should i wait till the bank account recovers before i worry aboul the warped exhaust manifold or the timing chain thats probably due for replacement...
If the coolers not leaking leave it alone...
