    Penrite ATF BMV

    I went to get some ATF yesterday and was informed that this is purpose developed for ZF 4 and 5 speeds, and the 4HP22 is listed.

    Does anyone have any wisdom/experience with this?

    In the absence of any dire warnings I refilled the box half hour ago (yes almost midnight) and took a test drive.

    It's weird stuff, not red like usual ATF but the same colour as a gear oil and looked a little thicker than a usual ATF. But its got the ZF TEML11 approval, and it drives very nicely, so I'm happy.
