    what fuel injection - 4.3L V8

ok so got to fire up my new 4.3L stroker y'day and mechanic realised the temporary Holley 2 barrel projection system doesn't deliver enough fuel!

so now have to make a quick decision on what avenue to take.

    1. 4 barrel holley projection

    2. haltech, wolf, etc

decision at this stage has to be fairly cost friendly (if there is such a thing!) did a search and found a few threads on wolf, but has anyone run the 4 barrel holley system? who has run what and what are your experiences, and rough costs if you don't mind.

getting carbies temporarily fitted at the moment so i can have it back to iron out any bugs, start running in, etc. But need to make a call pretty quickly as to order all the bits, etc

    cheers

The thor manifold gives much better power (upto 60% ) below 3500rpm, at a cost of 5% loss at peak revs.
PhillipA has a excellent dyno chart of the power curve achieved with this manifold on a 3.9L v8, it is orsum, do it

edit: also like to add that the thor manifold is not reccomended for horsepower heros, you WILL get more power from the standard plenum, but not where it is needed

Im suprised the Holley setup can provide enough fuel. Are you sure your injectors/fuel pump are up too the task?

Is this the system you are using? Surely 670cfm should support a 4.3ltr motor?

Rochester Quadra-Jet and Edelbrock dual plane manifold with the plane divider cut half down is the way to go. Stone reliable, no electronic problems, & will flow >800cfm.

Have a poke around this site, lots of interesting tid bits on EFI variations concerning rover v8's. There is also some answers about the throttle body questions you asked.
