    Who makes Freelander?? Some sort of Korean or Japanese thing??

    Dah - ahhhhh - hmmmmmm Land Rover

    The best of British - the FL1 has design inputs from Honda and BMW as well of course Landrover

    FL2 again the best of british - Landrover with maybe some design inputs from maybe BMW and Ford.

    In a way.......

    The automatic transmission on FL1 is a JATCO, made in Japan.
    The FL1 V6 is also used in the Kia Sportage. They suffer the same fate too .
