    hi cooter ;

    I'm about to fit aluminum checker plate to bottom halves of doors and the rear panels on my disco, it's quite easy , just have to make up a template , place it on sheet of the alum checker plate and start cutting with a jig saw.

    i have it on my disco, i bought the full kit in the uk from reble 4x4 ,cost about £79 ( aus 190 ish ) you get it black or plain chequer . i got it plain and painted it myself ( saved $20 bucks ) i supose you can make it yourself but some of the panels are curved and i couldnt be bothered so i just bought it . i believe reble 4x4 do ship to Australia.
