i have seen a few discos with chequ plate on the lower halves of the doors and guards is it hard to fit ie do you have to cut it out yourself or can u buy a kit?
i have it on my disco, i bought the full kit in the uk from reble 4x4 ,cost about £79 ( aus 190 ish ) you get it black or plain chequer . i got it plain and painted it myself ( saved $20 bucks ) i supose you can make it yourself but some of the panels are curved and i couldnt be bothered so i just bought it . i believe reble 4x4 do ship to Australia.
the website is rebel4x4.co.uk
How is the aluminium plate fixed to the body panels guys ?
Id go the card board template first then trace on the ally then cut with a jig saw then pop rivet em on and id only use 1.6mm checer plate maby 2mm tops ive got to do some for countys soon but there flat and easy![]()
