When I did mine I had 100 or so ml's left over, you should be ok.
Went & bought some Penrite fully synthetic MTF to try & get smoother shifts out of my R380. I thought I needed 2.5 litres & that was the exact size of the container. ..........Wrong
, 2.7 litres is the required spec
.
Can I get away with it or do I need 2 go back & buy another 2.5 litres as this is the only size they (Repco) have.
Cheers Dean.

Ive seen gearboxes turn up nearly empty that have come out ok (the oil doesnt tho its usually the consistancy of tar)

When it comes down to it, if it is worrying you go get another 2.5 litres and top it up. The cost of the oil is nothing compared to a gear box rebuild. Might be paranoid, but pays to be cautious....preventative maintenance.

Thanx Angus ,
but like Jimbo I also had about 100ml left over.
So far so smooooooooth!
Cheers Dean.
