Thread: headlight removal 92 disco tdi

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is in the right section.

Would like to take out my old headlights and clean the glass(if thats possible),and put them back in.

My l/h side is OK,held on by nuts.But the right side has the adjustment thingys on it.How do I take them off without buggering them up

92 dico tdi(thats getting the fr wheel bearings done at the moment..)

The orange adjuster knobs slides off rearwards. can take a bit of juggling. With the black centers that remain squeeze the the two tounges together and they will fit through the square hole in the frame. You may have to rotate it a little. The lamp assembly then can swing down and be removed.
