Erich, you could probably try trivett or maybe T R Spares.

I exclusively used a set of 90 degree offset multi grips when i did all the hoses on big reds 100K service.

My brother has a Snap On tool for doing just this. Cost about 50pounds though so not exactly cheap. It is great at getting tricky ones though. Its sort of a pair of mole grips with a long cable with a clamp on the end.

Can be bent pretty much everywhere and has a reach of about 50cm from memory.

Replace the clamps with Stainless screw clamps. I just did this and replaced all the hoses and clamps. The clamps alone from Bunnings cost approx $50. Worth every cent. And when I put the new hoses on with the new clamps I orientated them all so that I could tighten or remove them in situ as required.

The spring clamps are good in as much as they automatically tension the hose but really suck to work with.

I like those clips. With plastic radiator header tanks they don't damage the outlets. I have the right tool to remove them.

I'll go out to the garage later and get the info.

Sory, Erich, I didn't get out to the garage list night. When I get home.... I think it was a T&E Tools item no. 971. It cost about $25.

This is what it looks like. The ends swivel so you can get into tight spots. It has a locking ratchet to hold the clamp open.

You can also buy kits of tools - even with remote jaws.

I assume you are not talking ot the Clic and Clic-R hose clamps. They are also used on Rangie hoses (at least on my P38A brake hoses from the pump to the brake modulator).

They are a really good clamp and, with the right tool, easy to remove/refit
