    Chassis Cleaning

    G'day All,

I am after some ideas on the best way to clean out the inside of a chassis. I was thinking of using a pressure washer, but there is not really any way of getting to the inside

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers

    chassis on what?
is it still under the vehicle?
on a disco there are lots of spare holes, certanly enough to get in and wash out muck.
be careful washing out the chassis too, make sure to put something back in it to inhibit it or it will rust out from inside.

Next question, what does everybody use to inhibit the rust from returning on the inside?

    Fish oil?

    Lanolin?

    Diesel?.......

It depends on how stripped it is.

Before I had mine galvanised, I had it dipped by a specialist company, in some huge tanks full of chemical. It came back shiny metal! inside and out.

    Cheers.

Is galvanising an option, while youve got it off the body.
