The one in line with the camshaft ?

    If so, it's LDI100030 (70mm sealing plug).

I was talking to my local LR guys the other day (after seeing the thread that someone had where they claimed they'd lost all the engine oil out that hole), they put a bead of silicone rubber around them to stop them weeping.

If they only weep, I can't see how one could dump all the oil quickly from there.

Don't know about the front one but it's amazing how much can come out of the back one when you loose it.

yeah mine isnt just weeping... its wet and runs down the engine when its hot.. they actually state to use silicon in the corners of the 'D' at the rear of the gasket which i did.. a high temp black silicon. however this seems not to of worked.. you have to be careful with the silicon round there as it is a main oil gallery just in front i beleive!

im still not convinced that it is just these 2 place (see my other thread!)

    Thanks
