    200tdi Clutch fork?

    Hi there
The gearbox will be going back into my disco on the weekend and we just remembered that we have to do something about the clutch fork.
On our other 200tdi d1 the fork has a plate welded to the back of it to stop the pivet thing from punching through the back, but we can't remember correctly where to weld it
So if someone could help out that would be great??
Also would it pay to buy a whole new fork and then strengthen it?

where the pivot ball seats into the fork weld a heavy duty body washer on the back side of the fork...

then run some stitch welding to the flanges and either side of the washer.

works better with a new fork.
