    Defender owners' with rear poly-airs

How did you guys ( and Girls ) block the top of your spring turrets?

Did you manufacture a plate, or find something that can be bought
    off the shelf?

I have had a pair for ages, ( Imported from USA ), just haven't got around to fitting them.

Your ideas (photos if possible ) would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Mal

Hi, this is a photo I took about 3 monthe ago half way through fitting the airbags, The second pic is the position I placed the valves (holes already there) The plates were supplied in the kit as purchased from Poly air in Sydney. Is this what you are after? Erich

    Thanks Erich.

The 2 holes that you drilled in the rear of the turret, are they under the chassis rail. It is hard to tell from the photo.

Also what thickness is the plate.

    thanks

Hi Mal. the plate is 4mm thick - I just took a few more pics. I didn't drill any holes. On my model there are many to choose from. The photos should help.

    Erich.

No worries, yes, they are a bit 'redder'. About 2500 kms. of good old NT dust makes the difference.
Hope it all works out for you. Erich
