    Smile NEW PURCHASE

    Hi guys and girls,
    I've just bought my 1st landrover a 1999 defender 130 td5 it has 149,000 on it apart from a broken bonnet catch it seems really solid. is there anything I should really be checking or looking out for before my 1st big trip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Park it over a clean section of concrete.
    If a small pool of oil collects over a few days, then it is a sure sign the vehicle is functioning properly.

    Congrats on the new buy.
    Let me know how it performs over corrugated roads.
