    What is this part?

    Hey All, I was poking around under the bonnet of my td5 this arvo, and I noticed that the large, ribbed, rubber tube that comes from the air filter has a split in it... I was just wondering if someone can tell me what it's called so I can order a replacement. It looks pretty simple to replace, only seems to be held in by some hose-clamps...

    Also, I'm heading off for a trip home next week, so I was wondering if it's something that should be fixed ASAP?

    I've included some pics for illustration. The split is under the hose-clamp in the last image.

    I take it that it is a large ribbed hose coming off the aircleaner intake?

    Then I would call it "flexable rubber intake hose" .... Yes ... replace it ... before the dirt does
