How to find out EKA code for 98-99 D1 ??

    Hi guys/gals,

It occurs to me that the Emergency Key Access code as referred to in the Rave D1 electrical manual page T1 would be good to have, for the obvious emergency (as in "gunga din").

As the 3rd owner - I got none of that original info and it doesn't seem to be recorded anywhere in the owner's handbook.

I tried telephoning Trivetts (but they are closed - it's public holiday there apparently).

How do I otherwise find it out? Can it be read with a diagnostic computer?

thanks in anticipation of useful info - Laurie

    Me too!

I also have bought a disco (D2 2002) with no EKA code.
I have no idea where to start looking. Is there anyone out there that can point me in right direction? Is there any other secret information that a new owner needs to know?
Any assistance here is gratefully appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Alan.

    Thanks Scott,

I received your PM and sent an answer - twice (I think!).

I haven't sent one before and couldn't tell if it actually sent or not.

Please let me know if you didn't receive it.

    Thanks again for your help.
    Alan.

Don't you have an owners handbook or rave manual clarkie?

It's a code that (When entered in the driver's door lock) will allow temporary disarming of the security system and key entry and key starting can function

Mostly seems to be required when you get a flat battery in the keyfob
