Adjusted steering stops
The 93 Rangie i have bought has larger tyres fitted and the owner said he has had the steering stops adjusted so that the tyres don't hit the chassis.
The tyres fitted are 245 75 r16 BFG's (i think)
I wouldn't have thought it would be that much of a drama?
Is the only way to fix this to get some large offset rims?

he has done that to stop the tyre hitting the suspension arm,
getting offset rims may cause you more hassles as the tyres may then hit guards.
if you want to go that way borrow some rims first.

I've got 245/75 16's on my d1. It doesn't rub anywhere up front but was catching the 1/4s just. Doesn't now after crushing them yesterday.
