You have the intercooler then rad and on the end of the rad is the heat exchanger for the engine oil. With the copper pipe I don't know,it could be the oil return line.My partner is driving my fender today so I can't check. Pat
Hi,
I had to do the timing belt on my Landy so I thought I might as well remove the radiator and Intercooler. I have read some threads on how to clean the intercooler but was wondering wether there is a reliable place where I can take both the Intercooler and radiotor to have them pressure teste and perhaps properly serviced. I'm in the Hills (Kellyville), any ideas?
When facing the front of the vehicle, on the left hand side of the radiator there are two metal hoses (One top and one bottom) running into the radiator, which upon removal had oil in them and small o-rings. What are these for?
Lastly, on top of the cam cover there is a copper pipe which is part of the cooling system. Does anyone know what this is called?
Thx

Any ideas at what a re-coring or new radiator & intercooler will cost?
Any radiator place will be able to dismantle & clean out the radiator.
The intercooler you should be able to do yourself & it's only oil residue they block with.
Wait & see how the radiator goes before thinking about a re-core. The same place will be able to give you a quote anyway.
