    300Tdi Injector Studs

    Hi All,
I've broken one of the studs that are used for the injector hold down plate thingy (I think that's the tech name)
The said studs are necked down in the middle between the two threads.
Can anyone think of a reason I shouldn't use a "normal" stud?

    Thanks

    Tony

No reason that I can see.
The genuine part is only around $2 from a dealer if you're near one, ERR3468 is the part number.

Nope, that's what I did. I used high tensile studs as the original ones were stretching in that narrow neck of the stud.
