Please Help 93 Clasic rangie ABS light
Can anybody please help...
I bought a 93 Rangie 4 weeks ago and have got it on the road last week. I had a few things to do to get it road worthy. Everything works, well was.
Two days ago I pulled the front left hub off to check the wheel bearing. It was shot and so was the spline and cap. I bought a new CV and cap today and fitted everything back in.
Now when I drive the ABS light stays on and the warning light " ! " comes on.
I’ve tried to search for tips on what to look for, but just chase my tail.
After spending so much time on it over the last 4 weeks I’m about ready to send it to the wreckers!!!!.
If somebody could give me some tips on what to look for, I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks Pete

Hi Peter,
Q1- What made you concentrate your efforts on the LHF wheel in the first place?
Q2- Why did you replace the CV?
Q3- Did the CV have a tone ring on it? (Teeth outside for a sensor to read)
Q4- Is the sensor wire disconnected or damaged? Check for continuity and also sensor spacing from tone ring.
Easy solution is to pull the globe, but makes it unroadworthy.
